 Ideal for someone new to NFPs, or in need of a refresher, this set provides an overview of accounting for contributions, endowments, split-interest agreements, fair value measurement, programmatic investments, functional classification of expenses, classification of net assets, and financial statement presentation.

Not-for-Profit Certificate 1 Program ( NFP 1 )

NFP I: Not-for-Profit Governance and Assurance Track

The six courses in this track will provide a foundation in board governance, auditing and financial oversight of not-for-profit entities (NFPs) with a focus on governance practices, risk management, internal control, audit planning and preparation. Topics include auditor communications to those charged with governance, risk assessment and fraud prevention for NFPs

The 8-hour CPE-eligible Tax Compliance bundle provides an overview of tax and compliance requirements that apply to tax-exempt, not-for-profit entities. This 5-course set covers topics such as activities that can jeopardize tax-exempt status, the public support test requirement, reconciling Form 990 to financial statements and much more
